White Cane Day took place in Seattle on Saturday, October 14, 2023, celebrating the achievements of people who are blind or visually impaired and the important tool of independence, the white cane.

The White Cane Day Walk began at the Pike Place Market and concluded with a reception at the Washington Talking Book & Braille Library (WTBBL). WTBBL, a program of the Office of the Secretary of State, provides access to information and reading materials for people who cannot read standard print.
