Find a Ride's Trip Planner - 2026 Improvements
Moving forward on our roadmap
Since 2018, Hopelink has been working to make real the vision of
King County Mobility Coalition, and many regional partners, on a
One-Call/One-Click
system.
In 2024, our project expanded our Find a Ride transportation service discovery site to include a trip planner. Throughout the last few years, we have steadily moved forward on our multi-phase roadmap to increase mobility access across Pierce, King, and Snohomish counties. Our trip planner, Phase 1 of our roadmap, displays more than two dozen services that you will not find in any other trip planner. With the support of two vendors, Anthro-Tech and Cambridge Systematics, and incorporating feedback from our Mobility Team, various Mobility Coalition Partners and individuals with disabilities, we are excited to bring you an updated version of Find a Ride in March 2026.
Two services in our trip planner are King County Metro Flex and Northshore Senior Center's Transportation Service, that supports older adults and people with disabilities near Bothell.

Find a Ride Trip Planner Version 1.4.7
The trip planner was updated in March 2026 to include several enhancements and accessibility improvements co-designed with community input. Find a Ride's Advisory Committee stewards this program, and prioritizes inclusion, accessibility, and equity. Our Find a Ride trip planner is particularly grateful to our advisory committee members who are blind or have low vision as we went through a robust inclusive planning process to support greater accessibility.
Our trip planner now displays fares and bus route information.
It also includes the names of WSDOT Ferries, and other services, like the Seattle Street Car and the Circulator.
Why did we make these changes? We listened to you!
- Customizable alert section was requested by our Regional Alliance for Resilient and Equitable Transportation (RARET) partners
- Accessibility improvements were by request of individuals with disabilities and organizations focused on priority populations with access and functional needs. Thank you to Anthro-Tech for our Accessibility Audit!
- Bus Numbers in transportation results were one of our most-requested features during our community testing phase.
- Previous spinner while results were loading was difficult to see, so we made it bigger. This is a work in progress! It can take up to 15 seconds for results to load because of the large geographies of demand responsive services!
